unique features of AOP
AOP comes with an APEX plug-in (support for 5.0, 5.1 and 18.1 or higher), a PL/SQL API, and REST service which makes it very easy for the developer to define the data and template they want to use.
AOP transforms HTML Rich Text Editor source into native Office bold, italic, underline, etc. So WYSIWYG in the browser, straigt in your document.
You define your Interactive Report or Grid as the data source and AOP will understand the filtering that was applied any other features used, like highlighting.
Under the hood AOP is using JSON. This makes AOP easy to use from any technology.
AOP can generate native Word, Excel, and Powerpoint charts. With APEX 5.1 and higher we also support JET charts and other SVG and HTML5 charting engines.
No new infrastructure is needed for AOP; you can use it as a cloud service (even works with Oracle Cloud). If you opt for on-premises, you can install it on your own server(s).
You only need to do a REST call and use our PL/SQL API or APEX plug-in. APEX Office Print runs on our servers and is maintained by us.

Although AOP is built to be simple and user-friendly, you may find yourself needing more resources to convert your current reports to APEX Office Print. We offer a support and consulting package that covers exactly that.
In addition to building your reports we can train you on the job so you're up and running in no time. We're experts in Oracle Application Express, so we can even provide support for other APEX related issues you may be having.
