APEX Media Extension for AOP

Introduction​

This section will go through the AME(APEX Media Extension) usage instructions which is available to the AOP(APEX Office Print) Gold License Users.

APEX Media Extension​

APEX Media Extension (AME) is an inclusive product of AOP which offers different functionalities for manipulation of images. AME supports:

  • Resize images
  • Crop images
  • Rotate images
  • Add one or more watermarks or overlays to images
  • Compress images
  • Change image formats (jpg, png, ...)
  • Read media metadata: support for JPEG, TIFF, and HEIC files with tags encoded using Exif, IPTC, and XMP (the latter two only for JPEG).

Usage​

The AME web editor can be accessed through root_url/ame/ For e.x. http://localhost:8010/ame/. The web editor can only be accessed by the user with Gold License.
